Human being are involved in many activities to earn a living eg farming, Transportation, fishing, construction, tourism and even clothing all are influenced by the climate surrounding us.
Can plants grow in a desert?
DESERT
- Crops cannot grow in dry areas
- Farmers cannot farm in arid areas because there is no rainfall
- Dry climate conditions cannot allow farming to take place
Where is pastoralism practised?
Semi-desert area
- Pastoralism is practised in dry/ semi arid land
- These areas cannot support crop growing
- Arid lands can grow grass enough for animals

- Wild animals live in the savannah climate.
